Hey! I’m Chloe.

I’m the founder of VIA Courses and I create and deliver all our content.

Leading up to the global pandemic of 2020 I spent a lot of time reflecting. I realised I was unhappy, following what was expected of me and not what I really wanted to do. Because of this my performance, creativity and motivation stuttered. So I decided to take a leap, I have always been passionate about communication, teamwork and developing others and that’s when VIA Courses was born.

I truly believe in the importance of connection and a sense of self to bring contentment and deliver the best results both professionally and personally. I also see that we’re in an era of disconnection, fuelled by self doubt and technology. We need to connect to ourselves, our values and others again.

Some facts about me:

  • Up to December 2020 I held a senior management role in a global engineering company. Throughout my 14 years experience I was indirectly responsible for a large team internationally, organised multiple training events and mentored colleagues into new exciting roles.

  • I’m a work in progress, we all are. I continue training to support my coaching and seek inspiration in all areas through my book obsession.

  • I love being outdoors, whether in the local Peak District or flaneuring wherever I may find myself.

  • I am a hobby enthusiast. I love crafting, particularly using yarn, I love being creative, and my competitive side shows in my love of sports.

  • Values and ethics are important to me. I am a member of the Good Business Charter and follow their 10 components of ethical business.

During my career I saw:

  • How individuals can have the same objective but lose their way in execution

  • How teams worked in silos

  • How ego and urgency get in the way of better solutions.

  • Leaders saying yes, and focusing on doing, rather than leading in an authentic way

Adapting my communication and focusing on collaboration transformed my working life and allowed me to be the leader I wanted to be.

Numerous studies have highlighted how collaborative teamwork is a key driver for success :

  • ~40% of employees believe their colleagues do not collaborate effectively

  • ~70% of employees say training and development is the most important policy and +90% would stay longer with a company investing in learning

  • ~75% of employees believe they are not fulfilling their potential

  • Only 13% of employees worldwide are engaged

Leadership training engages not only your existing and emerging leaders but the wider organisation too.

Why Leadership Training?

Why Wellbeing?

We all know that investing in wellbeing has an unbelievable ROI (average of 5.6:1) because Deloitte has been saying this for years.

We also know personally and collectively that looking after ourselves makes us feel and perform better in every aspect of our life.

Here’s the company benefits (if you need a reminder):

  • Encourages better health improving productivity and absenteeism

  • Helps to recognise and manage stress better

  • Increases engagement, employees are more connected to a company when they feel they are being looked after.

  • Improves culture with proactive wellbeing increasing happiness and compassion for others.

  • Increases employee retention and talent attraction in particular with younger generations with a greater interest in company values

  • Cost savings. Nothing more to be said here. Obvious and simple.

Finally life is challenging, and with so much uncertainty, employers have a duty of care to support their teams.

With ~75% of employees not feeling they are reaching their full potential and looking for career opportunities, coaching is an ideal tool to unlock your potential.

I want people to achieve the best for themselves and their organisations.

As a coach I will support and challenge you to understand and achieve your potential, both professionally and personally.

Whether your goals are to manage stress and positive wellbeing, achieve specific goals at work or increase confidence, coaching can benefit you.
