Mental Health First Aid
Private group sessions and individual places on open sessions available for the following courses:
Mental Health First Aider (2 days)
£325 per learner 14hours of content; instructor led, group discussions & individual / group activities
MHFAider® training is the mental equivalent to physical first aid. It’s designed to raise awareness of mental health and reduce the stigma that can often surround mental health issues. The course equips people with the knowledge and confidence to support someone who is experiencing mental distress.
As an MHFAider you will be able to:
Recognise those experiencing poor mental health, provide with first level support & early intervention
Practise active listening & empath
Encourage others to identify & access professional help & support
Practise self-care Have a conversation with improved mental health literacy
Mental Health Skills for Managers (1/2 day)
£150 per learner 4hours of content; instructor led, group discussions & individual / group activities
Put wellbeing at the heart of your leadership approach for a mentally health workplace. This four-hour training course will provide a consistent approach to mental health and wellbeing, promoting healthy performance across the whole organisation.
Following the course you will be able to:
Identify if an employee may be experiencing poor mental health
Feel confident having open conversations about mental health
Appropriately signpost to available support
Role model good self-care practice
Mental Health First Aider Refresher (1/2 day)
£150 per learner 4hours of content; instructor led, group discussions & individual / group activities
MHFAider® training is the mental equivalent to physical first aid. It is recommended that MHFAiders® attend a refresher course every three years to keep up to speed with the latest mental health support
As an MHFAider® you will already have completed 14hours of content. This is an opportunity for you to:
