1:1 Leadership Coaching

A space to think, challenge yourself and make meaningful change — with someone who will listen, ask the difficult questions and help you turn insight into action.

Build confidence, self-trust and clarity — and lead in a way that works for you.

Sometimes you don't need someone to tell you what to do.

You need space to think.

A place to work through what's going on, make sense of what you really want, challenge your assumptions and decide what you're going to do next.

That's what coaching with me is for.

I work with leaders, managers and business owners who want to develop their confidence, leadership and self-awareness - whether you're stepping into a new role, navigating a challenge, feel that something needs to change or simply need a space that is different to talk and think.

My clients tend to be reflective. They often know logically what they want to do, and what will help them but have different taking the meaningful action and connecting emotionally. They’ve often read the books, listened to the podcasts, but rarely invested in themselves in the way that coaching does.

What might we work on?

There's no fixed coaching agenda. We start with you and what matters to you right now.

That might include:

  • Building confidence and self-trust

  • Having difficult conversations or navigating challenging relationships

  • Making decisions and getting unstuck

  • Managing change, uncertainty or pressure

  • Understanding your own patterns, behaviours and impact

  • Finding ways of working that are more sustainable

  • Working through a situation where you can't quite see the wood for the trees

Sometimes you arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on. Sometimes we explore that together. Sometimes we might think a conversation is going one way but we discover the true challenge and the conversation takes a different direction.

How I coach

You set the agenda. I don't tell you what to do.

You're the expert in yourself and your situation, I'm not there to tell you what to do or give you a ready-made answer.

I'm there to walk with you, and help bring clarity with a balance of high support and high challenge.

As your coach, I help you notice what's really happening, ask the questions that might otherwise go unasked, make connections and work out who you actually are, what you actually want and how to get there.

We'll use whatever helps you think and learn: conversation, questions, reflection, practical tools, stories, metaphors and sometimes paying attention to what's happening in your body as well as your brain.

It might not always be comfortable, but that is what makes coaching impactful.

What might it look like?

Here’s how it might unfold:

  • After you express interest, we’ll have an initial call to understand how coaching could help you right now, and whether I am the right coach for you. There is no commitment at this stage - purely connection building and exploring.

  • If you agree you want to go ahead I will send you a pre-coaching reflection and we will both sign up to our commitments in the form of an agreement.

  • I typically work with coachees for 6 sessions from 1-2hours at a time, generally monthly and generally in person (local to Sheffield). We can flex the pace and location depending on what's happening for you and how you work. If, at the end of the initially agreed sessions, we both feel there is useful work still to do, we can continue.

  • Reflective check ins between sessions and access to coaching tools and resources where useful

  • Opportunity to feedback at every session, and with a specific mid-point and final review of our contract. This gives us each the opportunity to reflect on what’s going well, what might need to change, and what else we might need.

Why work with me?

'm an ILM Level 7 qualified coach and trainer, with 15 years' experience as a leader in a global manufacturing company before setting up VIA.

Since becoming a coach, I've developed hundreds of hours of experience in 1:1 executive and leadership coaching, alongside team and group coaching for business owners and leadership teams.

I've also trained in Team & Group Coaching, Positive Psychology and NLP, and I'm passionate about continuing to develop my own practice.

But qualifications and experience are only part of the picture.

Good coaching starts with meeting people where they are. It holds safe, supportive space. It makes sense of the known and the unknown and makes connections internally and externally; with the brain, body and heart. This is what I’m really good at.

So how much does it cost?

This depends on what we agree in our initial discussion and how long we initially commit to work together.

But typically a 60min 1:1 coaching session costs £175. For C suite, or business owners I tend to work with 2 hour session at £350 per session.

Ready to explore coaching?

You don't need to have everything figured out before you get in touch.

If there's something you're working through, a challenge you're facing or simply a sense that you'd like some space to think, let's have a conversation.

What people say about coaching with me

  • "What I particularly value is that the sessions are practical, not just conversational. They are grounded in real, current challenges, and we break situations down using structured thinking tools. Importantly, there is always a focus on action - I am asked what I am going to do differently, by when, and how I will approach it. That accountability ensures the discussion translates into behavioural change rather than remaining theoretical. I leave the session with clarity and defined next steps. I also appreciate that the space feels objective and constructive. It allows for honest reflection without defensiveness, which can be difficult to achieve in a fast-paced operational environment."

    — Manager

  • "I really valued how Chloe challenged me in a constructive and supportive way. She encouraged me to look at situations from a different perspective and question some of my automatic thought patterns. That helped me step back and approach challenges more logically and calmly rather than emotionally."

    —Former Coachee

  • "Coaching is an invaluable resource. It has been a really rewarding experience for me. I have discovered things that were completely unknown to me about my personality, fears, and drivers that are changing the way I approach others and treat myself. I’m slowly developing the confidence to state my position on things clearly and without crippling fear of the unknown. "

—Andy - former coachee, University of Sheffield

  • "Loved it, you’re very gentle, kind, modest and open but you are also bold and tenacious - you don’t take any bullshit! You challenged & questioned me in a way that works for me, you brought things out of me without making me feel under attack or that I was doing anything wrong."

Hannah S - former coachee - business owner

  • "What can I say, at the end of each session I was always in an upbeat mood, ready to take on any challenge. . I was also surprised at what you remembered from the previous sessions – sometimes things were already buried in my mind. You’re a good listener and, at least with me, could move the right levers to steer me to where I needed to go."

James - former coachee - MD

  • "Warmth and kindness shone through during the session, giving me the confidence to explore my feelings and aspirations without judgement."

Fern - former coachee - Business owner
